Il primo tratto fino a Sassi è oggetto di un importante intervento di manutenzione: buona notizia per il sentiero, che verrà preservato da problemi di erosione, molto meno buona per i rider, visto che sono state installate parecchie traversine e scalette in legno, che compromettono pesantemente il flow della discesa (vedi foto caricate).
In sostanza è diventato un sentiero pedonale, poco interessante da fare in mtb, a parte forse per gli amanti dei tornantini con scalette in legno!
