Sentiero lungo e divertente, che corre in prevalenza nei fitti boschi dell'Alta Val Curone, tra terreno compatto e qualche affioramento roccioso. Arriva nei pressi dell'Albergo Ristorante "Da Rico" di Salogni (punto tappa consigliato per pranzare o fare merenda), lo sponsor principale di questa entusiasmante discesa che scende indicativamente dalle pendici del Monte Panà.

Si segue la prima parte della discesa Lapierre Fun del Bike Park di Caldirola (dall'arrivo della seggiovia La Gioia-Monte Gropà). Quando si rientra nel bosco dopo un breve tratto tra i pratoni, si prende il bivio a destra chiaramente indicato dai cartelli (l'altro sentiero piega a sinistra rientrando in località La Gioia di Caldirola).
