From my understanding, this is typically ridden the first half then turned off onto Sheep Rocks.
It is alpiney, high elevation (for Penticton standards). Old hiking trails with a half dozen steep sustained pitches. Some are eroded and add that extra terrible factor, but can be cleaned by a fit, technical rider.
The traverse part is beautiful single track with the occasional root and rock thrown in for interest.
A word of caution, there are multitudes of off chutes from game and livestock (and dirt-bikes), best go with a local or navigate by the most logical line choice.

Used this trail to access Shatford, first half is part ride / part hike-a-bike. Second half had a good flow.
