The final installation of the Sarlacc 'system' of singletrack, Skywalker completes the East/West connection of existing trail, allowing for a complete singleltrack experience for riders looking to ride the Edge Loop, and avoiding the necessity of Coal Gulch road to do so. Skywalker connects the eastern most end of Sarlacc to the higher elevation Cicada trail, dropping into drainages before climbing out to contour along rocky escarpments overlooking the valley below. Ridden West to East the trail climbs at a challenging grade. Steeper than the Sarlacc trail in many sections, the gradient is a reminder that this trail was designed and built by motorized users. East to West is much less punishing and will likely be the direction chosen by most, although this trail is multi-directional. There are several technical rocky sections, but overall the difficulty comes not from technical challenge but more so the steep climbs throughout.
