Sleeping Bear Loop begins with a gentle down hill before crossing the ski trail and beginning a new benched grade descent along the Peepsock Creek valley. It then climbs the ridge again, crosses to a side valley and plays along it out and back before returning to the start of the loop, all under a canopy of large poplar, balsam fir, and some pine.
