Solstice

To me this is much easier and less intimidating than the Mile. More of a dark blue. There are a few tricky parts but they aren’t especially intense just a small drop up top and two steep chunky bits. Scariest part is all the loose rocks on the last hard part. Like a mini hitler plus gravel

Great trail, one of the best sustained DH trails in the Bay Area in my opinion. Difficulty wise, I'd say it's a solid single black. As windsurfsf mentioned, there's a few shortish tricky parts, but everything in between is easily rideable by an intermediate rider. The trickiest part has a well marked ride around as mentioned, and I'd say it's on par with the chunky bits of Hitler or Cavity at China Camp and maybe a touch easier than the waterfall on Mile in Pacifica (although much shorter)

Surprised there is not more love or hate for this trail in the comments. I rode it on an enduro bike and loved it, friends on trails bikes not so much. There are three tech sections, the first short section at the start to set the tone, the second is mid trail and there is a fork with a black and blue sign, the black is about 30 yards of big rock drops - choose your line carefully, the third is a bit shorter but is the one I put a butt cheek down on. Rest of the trail is a mix of rocky and some flow, but this trail fully deserves the black rating, it's the hardest trail I've ridden in Marin, almost to Pacifica levels. All hard sections are walkable, give it a roll!
