For most bikers on this site, this is a green trail, but because of the proximity to the city and a few short technical root sections, I'm listing it as a blue.

This fun loop circles around the park, with two bike only trails along the way.
There are lots of families hiking around, so while its tempting to go fast near the trail heads, you might want to keep it slow.

Please please please do NOT put logs, sticks or cinder blocks down over muddy areas. This does not fix the problem and requires hours of work to fix later. If you want to learn about trail maintenance, ask a builder.

If you see anyone putting logs down, stop them and explain that it just makes the problem worse.

Also, if you see logs funneling you in a certain direction through a muddy section, follow them. Trail builders redirect people around problem sections, so they can dry up and be fixed later.

Can the app be updated to show that ebikes are allowed? From a FFX County Parks website: Commonwealth of Virginia law allows the use of e-bikes wherever regular bicycles are allowed. Virginia Code sections §10.1, §15.2, and §46.2 regulate e-bikes with a power rating less than 1000 watts, and top powered speed of 25 mph as bicycles that can be used on trails and shared use paths.

Add/Edit button in the top left. Edit Trail, then check the e-bike box.

No way the South Branch loop trail should be Blue-rated. It’s plainly a green.
