Split Creek Trail is arguably one of the most beautiful trails in Liberty Lake County Park. It parallels the Liberty Creek Trail by following up the east side of the creek. It is one of the most recent additions to this area and is more narrow and interesting in character than the Liberty Creek Trail, but they do combine well for a shorter loop within the lower regions of the park. Like most trails in this area, it does require some strong legs and/or a low gear to get up the climbs, but they are a bit easier than some of the other options in this area. There are a lot of other users in this park, so be careful and in control when coming down and yield to other users.
