Spooky Forest Details
Forrester Park tracks provides a beginner grade circuit for all skill bases.
Spooky Forest (Grade 2 – Beginner)
From the top football field, you head down a switch back track (mostly suitable for kids, but has some steep berms) in the pines, a couple of small jumps at the bottom, then a gradual climb to the top car park above the BMX track. You can descend to the bottom car park on a fast gravel track, with some drops and then back up a steep link with Spooky again.
Those whom want to can have a play on the BMX course as well.
From the OCTAGON (6km, 10min). Head north along George St all the way to the Gardens Shopping Area. Drive down North Rd to just before the Normandy Tavern (where the road starts climbing) then veer left onto Norwood St. Carry on up this narrow road until you get to Bethunes/Gully Forrester Park (BMX Track). If you turn left, this leads you to Bethunes Gully. If you follow the road right (past the BMX track), you get to Forrester Park.
