This is a narrow dirt road that leads to the State Mine. It is drivable by high clearance vehicles up until the junction with Big Major. After the junction the road becomes steep and rutted.

The State Mine is an interesting place that is littered with old cars and machinery from the later half of last century. There are also some old cabins that still have a remarkable amount of "stuff" in them.

There was a fire here in this valley recently (2020?), so that does spoil the scenery a little bit, but does add to the slightly creepy atmosphere that the place has.
