Starting from the Strawberry Trailhead, this trail parallels the McGaffey Campground for a bit before winding it's way up the McGaffey Lookout Tower. It is a wide, well maintained trail with gradual grades and no technical features. Due to it's easy and scenic nature, it sees a lot of foot traffic. Once at the lookout tower, you can continue on to Tampico Springs or descend down Mikes Rippin.
