The trail follows the northwest ridge of Stuart peak up to the summit. There are multiple paths braided together heading to the top. The climb is steep but shorter than it looks. The views from the top are impressive in all directions.

 About knee deep with a few postholed tracks.

 Mostly covered with fairly well consolidated snow that was pretty easy to walk on top of. It's clear near the top.
