mtb City of Toronto will be paving a short section of the Sun Valley loop trail to prevent trail erosion reduce the need for ongoing maintenance and protect the soil cap covering the landfill material below.

This work will improve safety, environmental sustainability and user experience. During this time, some of the trails will be closed to the public.

Please respect all trail closures and stay clear of all construction areas and vehicles.

You can explore an interactive map of the system, drop pins with comments, and take a survey about the various sign types. We'd love to hear what you think! mtb Beginning on Friday June 19th, TRCA will begin sightline clearing in Crothers Woods. In crews of two they will be walking the indicated trails clearing small woody stems and grass to a width of 2m and a height of 2.5m. None of the trails will be closed for this work but “Trail clearing work ahead” signs will be posted to inform trail users. Project timeline is estimated at three days for this round of clearing.
