This is a great hardpack trail with good flow. There are a few difficult sections that give it a blue rating but nothing that a beginner could not hike a bike past. This is a great trail to use when the West Texas winds are howling due to the protection provided by the trees.

Fun but not my favorite. Usually busy as people park at lighthouse trailhead and ride out to this trail and back. Good ride If blues aren't your thing.
