Trail 1 is a great trail to take a beginner rider once they have mastered the VIX Skills Loop.

Description
Trail 1 starts just down the gravel road from the VIX Ranch Bike Park. Climb up the gravel trail and look for a left turn at the top of the hill. Continue a mellow climb on Trail 1. Arrive at the junction with Trail 2 and continue straight.

At the intersection where Trail 2 takes a left, continue straight. Start your descent back towards the bike park. You can ride Trail 1 in both directions, so try riding it both ways and see what way you enjoy the most.
