The north end of Swamp starts at the junction of Link, Rattlesnake and Side Hill and ends at the Power Line trail near the Pillar. The Pillar is a not to be missed polished granite post left there before the quarries closed. It is commonly ridden north to south, because of the nice downhill. There is an elevated bridge that usually has a muddy section near the south end.
