Table Mountain Road climbs up from Interstate 8 and traverses around Table Mountain and to the north-west to the edge of Jacumba Mountain Wilderness in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. There are a number of off shoots and other road connections in this network.
This is the most accessible road to get to the west end of the network although it still requires high clearance 4x4. The other road, BLM-033 has one incredibly steep pitch with ledges that most vehicles will not be able to climb.
Access from Jacumba off I-8 via Carrizo Creek Road
