Tafoni Lower is a mostly double track access trail between the El Corte de Madera Creek Trail and Tafoni or Fir Trail back to Skeggs Point. It contains several steep uphill sections riding west to east that some riders may struggle to climb. Riding east to west, check your speed for the 15 mph limit. The surface is overall not technical. Tafoni Lower is an uninteresting trail and best for riders who are taking a shortcut, sticking to double track trails, or looking for a training climb (west to east).
Signs at the top and bottom of the trail warn of no emergency vehicle access, likely due to the steep terrain.
