Nach dem ersten Abschnitt und dem kreuzenden Waldweg nicht rechts zur Burgruine, sondern links weiter auf einem unscheinbaren Teilstück. Danach kann man zwischen rechts am Zaun entlang oder links wählen, beides mit Spitzkehren (hier die rechte Variante). Nach diesem Steilstück links weg auf einem schmalen Pfad zum Hufsteig. Zum Teil steil, verblockt, mit Spitzkehren und zum Ende hin schmaler.
