This is a classic route that consists of a mix of primitive singletrack and doubletrack. It is often hard to follow but takes you through a beautiful part of the mountain known as The Rincon. There's nothing really technical out there but you will need good route finding skills to follow it in a few parts. It ends at doubletrack with a historic stone house ruin, where you can either head north to the Red Rocks or south rejoin your previous route.
From FR50, start by heading northwest down FR483. At the very beginning, cut over from the road to the fence to find a singletrack that parallels the fence.
