Designed and built by local legend Shaggy with help from local volunteers, Third Circuit is a 0.4 mile Black Diamond downhill mountain bike only singletrack trail. The name honors William Hastie who was appointed to the US court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, making him the first African-American federal appellate judge. Tight, narrow and with several technical gaps, moderate rock drops, rock gardens, catch berms, and steep rock rolls, it is a fast-paced firecracker of a trail. Abundant wildflowers line the trail in spring and if you're lucky you may see an owl or two. The trail begins at the top of Remedy Hill and intersects with Spingarn, taking riders back out to Margaret Rd and the main parking area or back up for another session.
