This is a newly built segment of the Lake Alpine Loop. It was recently re-claimed after dissapearing from older topo maps and fading from use. BVTS trail volunteers re-built it in October 2018 so it is still a little soft with several portions that need to be improved or need slight re-routes. This segment completes the loop around Lake Alpine without having to ride/hike on any paved road sections. As you can probably tell from the name, it crosses three creeks which may be a bit difficult in early Spring after the snowmelt.
