The trail connects the town of Lenado with 4 corners on a fairly straight and consistent grade. Although the trail is fairly straightforward it is made more enjoyable by the nice evergreen forest, several water crossings, and views of the Woody Creek Valley.
The trail starts with a short section of loose rocks and gravel with some large water bars as it climbs around an old mine. Once past the mine, the trail makes a right hand turn and enters the forest. The tread follows an old road which has eroded and become overgrown to the point of resembling singletrack.
The grade is fairly consistent and the trail is fairly straight for 2.2 miles, at which point the trail makes a left hand turn and enters a mixed aspen/ evergreen forest. Another quarter mile of gentle climbing takes you to Four Corners.
The trail is also a fun high speed descent if heading down from Four Corners to Lenado. In a few places you'll find several different lines, and there are numerous small rocks to jump off and banks to ride up on.
