CYCLIST NOTES: Watch for rutted sections and as you head out onto the bluff, there is a short steep rutted climb that is a challenge to get up (on your bike) but has a nice view at the top. Coming off the bluff it gets sandy and drops down another short steep rocky section (rare here on Ft. Ord) and down into a rutted section followed by a sandy turn. As you head along the side of the hill you'll run into another rocky section and that ends in a sandy turn and dumps you out onto the road.

NATIONAL MONUMENT NOTES:
This BLM managed trail is open from dawn to dusk to cyclists, hikers/joggers, and equestrians. The trail is two-way directional, and cyclists must yield to all other users; hikers/joggers must yield to equestrians. Maximum passing speed limit is less than 5 mph for cyclists for oncoming trail users and when passing those that have slowed/stopped and moved to edge of trail. Please leash your pet.
