Newly reworked by Greenstone Trailcraft in 2024, the red trail now features a stacked loop system with a connector descent to provide more options. The new layout eliminated excessively steep climbs in favor of a more contouring alignment that maximizes the fun to effort ratio for users. The loop is designed to be ridden counter-clockwise, but is enjoyable in either direction.
Per the city trail is closed Sept-Feb except Sunday for hunting

Access Info

Parking at Rainbow Lake or ride in from connector. From Rainbow lake, go right after the dam, stay right at all forks till you get to a road, make a left on the road, past a driveway, then left back onto trail (across from the connector trail)

Disclaimer

Closed September-February except Sundays for Hunting Season.
