Probably my favorite trail up here. Just gives enough rest between all the little rocky sections to make the flow good, but provide some challenge as you throw your bike up some small sandstone lips, and negotiate some stone wash beds. Half way through the trail you drop onto a huge sand stone slab and the view of Shafer Basin opens up right in front of you, just amazing.

the only thing i hate about this trail is all the tire sucking sand. loooong stretches of the stuff in several spots. the rest of it is pretty fun though

Amazing views, and the "tire sucking sand" appears to have been packed down to the point where it's no longer an issue. This is, possibly, one of the most scenic trails in the Moab area and very "new rider" friendly.
