Upper Comet can be ridden in both directions, though the last bit is a pretty gnarly, rooty climb that most would prefer to ride down, as it's a fun descent with lots of tight, semi-exposed bench cut and a few steep chutes with roots and rocky bits.

Multiple large trees down 6/4/25... still a good ride, but keep your head up and down the trail

Initial descent is nice, with exposed roots and shaley soil, typical of the region. There's a small drop or two and some opportunities to be creative, but it's over pretty quick and most of the trail is a slow climb out to the Tuck-A-Way intersection
