This path was added to give access from the new parking lot. The path through sandy sage brush was seemingly made by dragging a stick between and around the sagebrush as not to disturb any of them. Pink ribbons are tied along the way and are sometimes easier to follow than the trail. At one point you must pass through a narrow gate with exposed barbed wire. The last section of trail is marked with cairns as you move across rock.
TH Parking with restroom is now right on Hole In The Rock road. This trail starts immediately across the road from parking.
