Test your climbing vigor by completing this long drag of a climb, broken up by a speedy midsection flat, but quickly snuffed out by steep grades. This starts out with steep switchbacks past a White scenic view bench connecting to some two track with rocks. Follow the road past the "W" and once you reach the top of the two-track take a left onto the single track and enjoy the ride up.

Tight and exposed single track. Chunky and loose double track. Well marked/maintained trail. Teeth chattering steep descent. Punishing uphill with rewarding descent.

For Central Nevada, where trails are few and far between, Winnemucca Mountain is definitely worth stopping for.

the road is chunky and really is t enjoyable up or down. After the road the trail gets pretty narrow in places, and the slope is plenty steep.if you don’t mind the exposure, the trail is okay for Central Nevada. Probably won’t be on my list again passing by.

We hope you've been enjoying Trailforks!
