The upper kilometer of trail still has a fair amount of snow. Enough snow to be a real pain going up, but not so much to be an issue coming down.

Blowdown on Merritt Crown side of Upper Scenic is cleared. Whole route has had a hair cut, limbs cut to open up the trail. It's better than every!

At higher elevations trail is covered in 1-2 inches of snow. In areas where the trail is not snow covered it is very, very soft and slick mud.
