This is a fantastic alpine hike-n-bike trip near Prince George. The Vineyards trail is a well-established hiking trail that leads onto a beautiful alpine ridge and Apse Mountain in the Cariboo Ranges. The trail uphill will be a combination of hiking and biking (mostly hiking). Once you attain the ridge, there are good extended opportunities for riding. The way down is fun and fast!
This is a multi-use trail in the alpine, so as always, be aware of other users and ride with respect.
2wd drive access along the Hungary Creek and Tumuch Forest Service Roads. The Caledonia Ramblers hiking guide provides good access info.
