It’s a sweet trail with a great outlook onto the War Eagle River. But definitely not a Black Diamond trail. No technical sections, just some punchy short steep climbs in some places. Ride it!

This is barely blue, certainly not black.

Exactly what the previous posters said. We avoided War Eagle because of the rating until we worked up the nerve. My wife ran and I rode the trail. It should be a solid Blue rating. There are some long and steep climbs, but the pay off of light traffic, beautiful overlook, and great scenery make it well worth the effort.
