Friends of Arkansas Singletrack (FAST)
Who We Are:
Friends of Arkansas Singletrack (FAST) is dedicated to trail stewardship, mountain bike advocacy, and community engagement. We work alongside the Northwest Arkansas Off-Road Trail System to elevate mountain biking in Arkansas, fostering a fun and inclusive atmosphere for all riders.
Group Rides:
Join us for our weekly Wednesday night rides at 6 PM (weather & trail conditions permitting). We rotate trails each week—check our calendar or follow us on Facebook for ride locations. All skill levels are welcome, with groups organized by ability. Post-ride, we gather to eat and socialize!
Trail Stewardship:
FAST organizes trail workdays throughout the year to maintain and improve our local trails. Want to get involved? Follow our FAST News & Events page or join our Facebook group to stay updated on upcoming trail work events. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the trails and the community.
OZ MTB Patrol:
Founded in 2016, the OZ Patrol enhances trail safety by assisting, educating, and informing trail users. Patrollers provide mechanical support, first aid, and general assistance while regularly surveying the trails. At events, our CPR and Emergency First Responder-certified patrollers offer crucial medical and mechanical support.
Community Engagement:
FAST believes in the power of community. We collaborate with local nonprofits like Bike-a-Palooza and Pedal It Forward, build bikes for kids, and volunteer at major events such as the Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals and Bentonville Bike Fest. Our OZ MTB Patrol also provides on-course support for NICA events across Arkansas.
Join FAST and be part of a thriving mountain bike community that’s making a difference on and off the trails!
