Widdesons is the primary connector and entry trail for the Arboretum, designed to provide a safe, off-road transition from the surrounding access roads to the main trailhead.
While largely flat and mellow, this green-rated trail serves as the central artery for the park; it circles the main car park and acts as a common terminus for several descending lines.
It is also the starting point for the Roger That climb. More than just a simple link, Widdesons offers a gentle introduction to the park, showcasing several scenic tree plots as you navigate toward the heart of the network.
