The New York City Mountain Bike Association (NYCMTB) builds and maintains trails in the five boroughs of New York City, advocates locally and regionally for the sport of mountain biking, and fosters a community of mountain bikers in New York City.
We are a volunteer community of dedicated builders and riders who believe that the greatest city in the world needs the greatest urban trail network in the world. We encourage volunteer engagement and a sense of pride and ownership of public lands through our stewardship and programs. Our continued partnerships with local stakeholders, including the NYC Parks Department, local conservancies, and neighborhood volunteers, ensures that all New Yorkers have access to world class bicycle trails in their backyard.
NYCMTB Is committed to youth development, and growing a foundation of riders and advocates for the sport throughout the five boroughs. Our free monthly off-road skills clinics, group rides, bike share, and youth MTB programming, ensure the next generation of young riders and racers have the tools they need to progress their skills safely, while promoting fitness and a love of the outdoors.
NYCMTB is a 501c3 nonprofit, and a chapter of the International Mountain Bike Association.
