The Westchester Mountain Biking Association, formerly CABN (the Cortlandt Area Bicycle Network) is dedicated to promoting the recreational use of mountain bikes on trails, in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
The goals of WMBA are to help protect the natural resources of our community and to educate mountain bikers and other trail users on prober trail etiquette (WMBA's rule of the trail).
WMBA serves the trail community through volunteer and cooperation with other trail users, private land owners and public agencies. WMBA's efforts ensure well maintained, safe and environmentally sound trails for everyone to enjoy.
We are a local IMBA chapter. Members will be kept up to date about our trail advocacy efforts, group rides, projects, and general information on the state of bicycling in our area. Membership helps us with much needed funding for trial work supplies and to fuel our trail advocacy effort. Please join (www.imba.com/join) and support your local effort! We need to demonstrate to other trail users, land managers and the general public that we take the privilege of trail usage seriously.
