Tokai MTB directory

TokaiMTB is the management group working with Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) to oversee Tokai’s mountain biking activity. The need for permanent structured management comes in the wake of a broad public participation process and plan for the future use of the Tokai precinct. In short, TMNP’s vision is to develop the area into the ‘official gateway’ to Table Mountain and TokaiMTB’s role is to ensure mountain biking remains a key stakeholder in this plan.

Mountain bike representation in TMNP controlled land has recently been reconstituted from the MTB Working Committee to the Table Mountain Mountain Bike forum (TMMTB). Founding members of TMMTB include Amarider (AMA), Pedal Power Association (PPA), Table Mountain Bikers (TMB) and TokaiMTB. TokaiMTB has a publicly-approved constitution and operates as a fully independent Volunteer Association.
