The Kittitas Valley is surrounded by state and federal public lands. When this chapter formed, there was not a single legal mountain bike specific trail in the county. The Kittitas County Chapter was born out of a desire to establish a trail system in our backyard that puts mountain biking qualities at the center of the design and implementation, while creating more usable and enjoyable trails for users of all types.
