Athens Bicycle Club formed in 1971. Over the years, ABC members have been instrumental leaders in the many developments that make Southeastern Ohio a great place for bicycling.
We are riders of all ages, sizes, and abilities, but what we share in common is a love for riding in southeastern Ohio. With more than 70 miles of singletrack as well as hundreds of miles of gravel and scenic roads, our region offers some of the best opportunities for cycling in the state.
Please consider joining ABC and becoming part of a group of local cyclists who are known for rolling up their sleeves and making things happen. Your club dues help pay for club insurance, the purchase and maintenance of trail-building tools, and special projects to improve cycling in southeast Ohio. The Athens Bicycle club is also a chapter of the International Mountain Bicycling Association. Our membership dues go through the national organization.
