ps
for Pipeline to count, do you have to ride the Skinny Circuit with Teeter?
the line on the map indicates not

Yes, I lost style points for Upper Boundary, plus I could have rode up Skid Road Connector/Skid Road Ascent twice in the same time and saved lots of energy. Now if someone like Chris Akrigg comes along and cleans trails like Boundary riding up, they should get extra style points.
That idea changes my plan for next year - only go up trails that I can likely/mostly. clean
I guess the other challenge for everyone is to figure out where those 62 trails are (almost like an orienteering competition)

thanks

Looks like about 58 trails possible that would count?
Is that right candaka?

There is 62 possible trails, I added a counter to the leaderboard page.

"WHERE i.ridingarea='1' AND t.published='1' AND t.hidden='0' AND t.planned='0' AND t.archived='0' AND t.closed='0' AND t.difficulty NOT IN (1,7) AND s.distance > 200"

But I think you have the most complete ridelog of riding every Fromme trail I've seen. But you didnt get complete matches on some trails, like Boundary. You hiked up the upper half. So the system doesn't count that as a complete match, only partial.

Hope everyone had fun
I still had Type 1 fun at the end for the smooth downhills (worn out elbows and knees made impacts on rough descents more Type 2 fun)
Looks like you have to ride the entire length of a trail uninterrupted for it to count, but can't figure out why so many people who rode Pipeline didn't have it count.

your ride was manually uploaded. generally Trailforks doesn't count manual uploads towards contests or badges.

Also, do you have to ride a section of trail continuously?
Such as starting at the west end of Baden Powell heading east, but diverting to ride other trails and coming back to where you left BP hours later. Perhaps even doing different sections east or west, but by the end of the day your track covers the entire length of Baden Powell?

Do you have to do an entire trail as it is shown in TrailForks for it to count?
Such as, do you have to go out and back on Upper Dreamweaver way beyond the No 1/4 junction to count. Or for Skid Road you would have to go from the Powerline to Baden Powell to count?

You would only need to ride Dreamweaver from Executioner onward as Upper Dreamweaver is listed separately, there are a number of trails listed this way that count as 2 or more separate trails (e.g. Expresso and Lower Expresso or Upper, Middle and Lower Griffen)

Otherwise yes I believe you have to ride the full length of a trail as it is listed on Trailforks.

When can I start and when can I end? Any reason I’m not just doing roadside attraction?

For starting and finishing we ask that you respect the park opening and closing times according to the DNV (roughly 8am~8pm).

You must ride 10 different trails for the badge, riding roadside attraction 10 times would only count as 1 trail Smile

don't see a general DNV regulation for access to non park front-country areas, but the closest equivalent is 7am to 8pm Aug 20 to Sept 13
www.dnv.org/notices/lynn-canyon-park-access-hours-update

Sunrise is 6:37 am and sunset is 7:43 pm on Sept 7

Any currently open trail that is recognized by the land manger and is signed is fair game. Smile
