SaveThe middle brother of the three North Shore mountains, Mount Fromme is considered as the crown jewel of the Shore. The new parking lot at the start of the ascent means this is now one of the Shore's busiest areas, but for those who are willing to persevere up the winding switchback mountain highway there are less trafficked trails higher up. If you want a real challenge, try a grind up the new Fromme Ascent but be forewarned, it is not for the faint of heart. Easy to navigate given its concentrated trail network, you will find surprises around every corner and descent.
Mt. Fromme trails cannot be shuttled. A majority of the trails have a dedicated builder working with the NSMBA and DNV to ensure a great trail network. Additionally the NSMBA holds regular trail days on the more popular trails.

Bike wash station and noticeboard near the water tower and toilets.There is a car park above the yellow gate at the top of Mountain Highway, frequently full, but with rapid turnover. Gate closing time is posted. Outside gate open time or if car park is full, cars must park down the road below the signs and pedal up to the meeting point.
