The trails in Mount Helena city park are generally old-style trails with steep grades and few grade reversals or breaks in slope. Trails on the northern side are used more regularly than the southern side, due to the bordering residential neighborhoods. These are among the most popular trails in the South Hills, and you should expect to see other users. Powerline and 1906 trails are uphill-only for mountain bike users.
