However, it appears to be unused and definitely requires some moderate gps navigation confidence to stay in track. Some of the lower part of the trail is just donky trails, lol. Lots of missing and downed signs as well. For those of you looking for green trail, keep in mind nearly all trails are narrow and rocky currently, so the greens may not seem green. The windmill blades spin no more as described in report from 2017, it has kind of fallen apart. Very interesting area geologically as the destination is actually within a volcanic caldera. Very green in some areas near the windmill. When I visited it was right after a super bloom and there was an unbelievable number of grasshoppers. | Dry | view | |||
