Dungog is a rural community in the Hunter Valley north-west of Newcastle. Located in the foothills of the Barrington Tops, the main riding area is Dungog Common which includes about 30 km of MTB single track, managed by a dedicated group of local riders. There are plenty of other opportunities for riding within a short distance of the town including Chichester State Forest but note there are no other formal tracks outside The Common.

The town hosts the annual Dungog Pedalfest which includes a range of events for different disciplines including mountain bike races in The Common.
      Primary Trail Type: Cross-Country
      Land Status: Crown Land
      Access Info:
You need to enter via Common Rd, cross cattle grid and park right there or drive along Common Rd (the gravel part) for another 2 km and park at the grassy flat where all trails start.
