Description:
FAMB Trail Crew has started brushing, and has made it approximately 2.7 miles up from the bottom. We will continue next week!
We also cutback the large tree (4 ft diameter) that was taken down recently. It is now 5 feet wide - wide enough to fit handlebars!
Important note: We found 5 bee/wasp nests in the past week. Most are ground nests and hard to see, one is a wasp nest attached to a Mountain Maple branch about 100 yards up trail from the Phillips intersection. They all seem to be accustomed to bikers/hikers, as long as y'all stay on trail. They do not like our brushers.
