Shuttled this on 6/15/26. Thanks to FAMBA all of the deadfall and bushes are totally cleared. It was a Sunday afternoon that we rode it and not a single other person out there. I wish more people would ride the trail though! It needs to be broken in more often to keep all the foliage from growing over the trail. Was a blast though!

I rode this on 7/9/25 from the road up top to the bottom via Phillips trail as a loop. The upper 2 miles or so was extremely overgrown on the sides of the trail. It is still rideable, but very overgrown and needs to be brushed out. The rest of the trail is in good shape. Be aware there are some challenging sections and one very sort section with some exposure (drop off) on the side of the trail. Great backcountry style trail and the descent is challenging and seems to go on for ever. This trail keeps you on your toes and is a rewarding ride. A warning sign prior to the drop off or some sort of barrier would be a good safety improvement.

Loggers razed a section about 100m wide. Major piles of trees at the top across the trail about a half mile in from the upper TH. Best option is to ascend and descend same route, IMO. On the main descent up to about 1/2 mile before switchbacks, there’s some natural deadfall here and there.
