Powderface Creek Trail Report - Ideal - May 30, 2025

Powderface Creek reroute and rebuild is complete. From some point last the Link (riding east to west) the trail has a completely different feel. It feels an awful lot like the rebuilt Prairie Mountain trail now. Machine built, mostly smooth, and borderline too steep to grind up on a modern enduro bike unless you're in top shape. They were allergic to building proper switchbacks - I counted exactly one. It does make for a very fast, blue flow style return ride done as an out-and-back. Still limited berms - more of a very fast downhill pump track. The eroded mess and baby heads of the past are gone.
