Description:
Recent rains has roughed up many of the wash crossings on the east side from Gadsden to Homestead. The southern east/west sand portion was very soft, had to use a lot of effort while heading downhill on my fat tire (3.8") bike. North to Crossover trail much sandier than in the past.

2 days of rain. Trail is in epic condition. All the washboard is gone and sand is smooth and firm. view

Even after a decent rain the lower portion of Pedersen is still tough sledding. Probably fat bike only here. The sand also feels somewhat graded... view
