Overall sick trail. On this trail, compared to other trails in the area, you aren't spending as much time eating hard earned vertical while going straight down the fall line, riding your brakes.

Trail Evan's Trail
Not to be negative, but it is almost like this trail builder was trying to frustrate anyone who wants to ride a bike on this trail. It is filled with a large number of very tight, literally 180 degree, unsupported switchbacks. These are loads of fun if your bike skills have not progressed since 1992. Otherwise, it is a bit annoying after riding that sweet ridge that features drops and cool views.

OOOPS! This above review was meant for Lower Stairway to Heaven, please disregard. This trail, Evan's, is a good trail for biking and fun.

I was told this is the easiest trail near town and that is likely true, but just bear in mind, if you have any fear of heights, which may affect only a small portion of mountain bikers, this has a significant drop off the side. I’m a newbie and it scared me a bit.

I took this as a easy way back to the car after a long ride and really enjoyed it. The grade is barely downhill, so you pedal most of the way, but you've mostly got good views and straight trail that you can cruise down. I wouldn't expect anything great, but if you want a chill cruise back down the hill, it's not bad.

Trail Evan's Trail
I rode this from the ridge down the south/east side of the trail. THIS is how trail should be built. Wonderful job to Evan I guess. Fast and fun, with great line of sight for all sharp corners.

Recent (spring 2016) trail work has added a few berms, and raised others.
