Trail Ocotillo
I have only been riding a few months after not having a bike for about 15 years. Def get some miles under your belt first, this was challenging. I am not sure if either my gps, or trail forks is wrong, but each direction was measuring a 742 foot climb, not 424 foot. Total distance also came out to 13.1, not 12.1 miles. Good ride none the less. If I had to rate it, just for the climb really at the end, it's more intermediate/difficult.

Trail Ocotillo
In general, it is a lot of easy flowy sections, with the occasional dip down/up through a wash, and a really big hill on the west end (definitely basic rolling over rocks tech skills required to clean it whether climbing or descending). Can easily stop and walk any of it, but probably need to have a few miles under the belt to clean the whole trail either direction.

Great loop. A shame to skip the great connector between CW to ES. It has a wow factor off the cliffs and a good exercise in downhill control for green riders. It will carve-off a couple miles and an alternative to going all the way up to Carefree Hwy, Another route shortener is the first connector after ES meets AW. It connects the southern parts of AW.

Fun ride! Lots of turns, washes, and great scenery. Little bit of everything. I would agree with other riders, I would not say it’s a beginner trail.

Fav trail, combined with the first leg of Sidewinder from the lot and the leg marked "connector" to make a figure 8.

Very fun loop to keep upping your best time. Some wash crossings with deep n soft sand, watch out for washing out. If you find the "secret" trail with the shot up vintage car hood you can stretch the loop a little farther. Great area!

Trail Ocotillo
Fun challenging trail, but definitely not for beginners. I’ve ridden several intermediate trails that were no harder than this.

Fun, fast, enjoyable ride. Nothing crazy. No dismounts needed. Plenty of other bikers and hikers so keep your eyes open.

Easy fun rolling trail. Very easy going and smooth. Not a whole lot of trail features to play on though. Relatively flat for the areas topography.

Great trail with moderate effort. Smooth on northern half but your girlfriend may complain about rocky terrain on south eastern part of trail

Great trail with plenty of hairpin turns and tons of fast downhill sections as well , you must be in good condition to enjoy this trail , I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners .
